I am currently facing scheduled power outages and the USPs I have are not reliable enough voltage wise, so I need a way to pause and then resume something like an 8h cloning process.

Pause/Resume is only possible with the RescueCopy or RescueImage app. (in Professional Edition)
Those write a continuation log, which is then used to continue the image operation at a later point in time.
