HD Clone fails disk enumeration if Dataram RAM disk present

Post by martin654 » Thu Jun 26, 2014 9:51 am

HD Clone (5.05 and also 5.06 Standard) fail to enumerate local disk drives if a Dataram RAM disk is present in the system. When stopping the RAM disk HD Clone works without problems. Operting System Windows 7 x64.

Thanks for the Info.

Upon enumeration, properties of the disk are queried (such as size, name, serial etc.). Perhaps DataramDisk delivers some irregular (or unexpected) values, which break the driver.
You can press Ctrl+Alt+F12 (or click on the wrench and then select "Write log" to store a log on the Desktop and then upload it here or send it to support@miray.de

It is as I suspected: HDClone doesn’t return from querying the data from the drive, with an exception in the driver.

I will make a new version available to you in the following days, from the log file I could find the matching license (starts with TQ...)
