Hi,

I think the HD Clone software 4.3.6 (fixes some issues and that is great) is lacking one feature and that is the ability to reset the SID upon restore of an image. I see the feature to "Adjust drivers" which seems to be another term for hardware independent restore. The software is super fast and easy to use and simply the best in my opinion but lacks that one feature for Professional or IT use. Please add this function and you will have my complete and utter recommendation.

Resetting the SID is not possible currently, as HDClone doesn’t know how to do it.

We have had several requests in the past about this, and the best answer I could give is that the changed SID doesn’t matter at all. This isn’t something I have dreamt up, but read more about this here:
