HDClone 4 Release History
Posted: Tue Nov 30, 2010 6:32 pmOn November 29th, Version 4 of HDClone was released. It is available in six languages: German, English, Italian, Portuguese, Polish and French. Customers from these countries will be prompted if they want to get the English or the adapted version upon download (not of the free edition). Manuals are still in English or German, though (French Manual is coming soon).
New to this version:
o FAT file systems can now be downsized
o Images can be stored and retrieved anywhere on the medium, not just anymore the HDClone Images folder
o Images can be mounted under Windows using the Miray Virtual Disk program
o Lots of bugfixes for the Resizing and defragmentation algorithm.
o Changes to the user interface for better readability and quicker navigation
The bugfixes will be backported to Version 3.9.6 (due also this week).
