The self-booting Miray tools use a unified driver model. The SCSI drivers support adapters by Adaptec. To practically help determining the compatibility, we offer the program DiskCheck, which can be downloaded for free. It is based on the same SCSI drivers and displays the SCSI harddisks detected by these.
Since our programs with SCSI support contain the original drivers of the hardware manufacturer, we do not have any influence on the actual grade of compatibility. All statements about compatibility have only informational character, are based on specifications of the hardware manufacturer and therefore are not legally binding for us.
According to information from the drivers themselves, they also support a number of additional SCSI controllers, partly designed as onboard chipset (AIC), partly as adapters (AHA, ASC). They can be identified clearly by PCI-Vendor-ID and PCI-Device-ID, listed under Narrow/Wide/Ultra and U160/U320.
